Yang Taichi Long Form Part II

1. Cross hands, right hand down, left hand up, left foot turns in.

2. Right foot steps back 45 degrees, collar bone strike with left.

3. Use torso to swing right arm out, right arm push away, left arm pulling back, press left palm to right wrist.

4. Draw arms back, shift weight and push while shifting forward.

5. Turn to left, right foot turns in, turn back to right, arms fold, then turn back to left, helicopter wings. Step out with left foot, step with right, and Fist Under Elbow, balance on left heel, weight on right leg.

6. Step back with left, Repulse Monkey; step back and Repulse Monkey two more times. To do Repulse Monkey: unfold palms up towards the heavens, cock back arm and lift leg together, then step back with leg (keep line between feet when stepping back), push forward with cocked arm, pull back with other arm)

7. Right toes to side, use torso to swing left arm out, turn left foot in, hold ball between your hands.

8. Step forward with right foot and Slanting Flying (flap your wings, feel the flow of energy from shoulders, elbows, wrist and hands)

9. Step up and raise hands, balance on right heel (as in part one)

10. Transition to Shoulder Strike (like part one)

11. White Stork Spreads Its Wings (like part one)

12. Brush Knee (left)

13. Stretch, bring left foot back and Needle at Sea Bottom; three circles: legs, torso, arms. Feel stretch in lower back.

14. Turn right arm out, let left arm fold on left side, step to left bow stance, Fanning Through the Back. Torso faces to right as you strike with left palm.

15. Arms swing to right, right fist to chest, left arm counterbalances to left, use torso to do downward blow with right arm and kick, and quick draw with left arm.

16. Hold a barrel to Deflect, Parry, Punch (like part one).

17. Deflect to right, turn left foot out, body turns left, step forward with right foot to Grasp Bird’s Tail (like part one).

18. Press (like part one)

19. Push (like part one)

20. Single whip (like part one)

21. Prepare for Cloud Hands: Turn left foot in, left arm up, turn to left, right foot steps closer to left, turn to right with right arm circling up and left arm circling down, looking at right palm.

22. Cloud Hands – step left foot to side, turn to left looking at left palm, step together with right foot, turn to right looking at right palm; repeat two more times.

23. Turn right foot in and right palm up after last Cloud Hands, and then do Single Whip.

24. High Pat on Horse – balance on left toes, weight on right leg, right palm by right ear, left arm held with palm up in front of you, step 45 degrees to left, push and pull with hands, turn wheel, cross hands and leg up, separate hands and kick with outer edge of right foot.

25. Keep your knee up, let your right foot dangle, High Pat on Horse with left hand cocked, right hand palm up outstretched in front.

26. Step to right 45 degrees, push and pull with arms, turn the wheel, cross hands, left leg up, separate hands and left leg kicks with outer edge of left foot.

27. Left toe lands a foot length behind right heel, turn on heel and toe, fold arms, with left hand outside.

28. Left Heel Kick with arms separating.

29. Brush Knee (left).

30. Sit back, turn left foot out, left palm over, cock left hand by ear, step forward with right foot and Brush Knee (right).

31. Sit back, right foot turns out, turn right palm over, step forward with the left foot, Groin Punch.

32. Turn to the right, turn left foot in, left arm up, right fist to chest and then left arm counterbalances as torso turns to produce downward blow with right arm and kick, then quick draw with left arm.

33. Holding barrel, right leg kicks out, Deflect-Parry-Punch (like part one).

34. Shift weight back, cross block with wrists crossed above head, turn left foot out, circle arms outward, Right Heel Kick and separate hands.

35. Right foot lands shoulder width apart from left, hands to right side, left palm up, right palm down.

36. Step to left 45 degrees, Hit the Tiger on the left, right fist to the temple, left fist to the kidney, do not bend at wrists.

37. Turn to the right, turn right fist over, shift weight to right, turn left foot in, then shift weight to left side, right foot steps out to Hit the Tiger on the right, right fist to temple, and left fist to kidneys.

38. Turn the left foot out, circle with arms, Right Heel Kick and separate hands.

39. Palms turn up like holding a platter, turn entire body on left foot, step out with the right foot and Double Winds to the Ears.

40. Turn right foot out, hands make circle and Left Heel Kick.

41. Left heel lands a foot length behind right toes, twist on right toe and left heel, and fold arms, right hand outside.

42. Right Heel Kick and separate hands.

43. Holding a barrel, right leg kicks out, Deflect Parry Punch (like part one).

44. Left hand under the right, sit back and then push.

45. Turn left foot in, hands separate, right foot comes back, Cross Hands to close (like part one).
